Who we are
LimaTek Ltd is a smart home, CCTV and network integration company registered in Limassol, Cyprus. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: info@limatek.ltd, +357 94 045 531, Iakovou Tompazi 15, 3107 Limassol, Cyprus.
What data we collect
We collect only what you send us directly: your name, email address, phone number and project details when you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp. We do not run user accounts, newsletters or marketing databases. Our website does not use contact forms that store data on our servers — enquiries go directly to our email.
Why we process it
We process your contact details to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver contracted work (legal basis: pre-contractual steps and contract performance under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Project correspondence and quotations are retained for as long as required for warranty, accounting and legal obligations under Cyprus law, then deleted.
Analytics
This website uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track visitors across websites. It collects aggregated, anonymised data such as page views, country and device type. No personal profiles are created and no data is shared with advertising networks.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: a single preference cookie that remembers your choice in the cookie banner and your language selection. We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party marketing cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, but we inform you about them via the cookie notice.
Third parties
The website is hosted on Vercel (EU/US infrastructure, covered by standard contractual clauses). Email is handled by Zoho Mail (EU data centres). If you contact us via WhatsApp, the exchange is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data with any other party.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, delete and receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy). To exercise any of these rights, email info@limatek.ltd — we respond within 30 days.
CCTV and smart home projects
For installed systems, the property owner is the data controller of any footage or access logs; LimaTek acts as an installer and, where agreed, a processor during maintenance. We design installations to comply with Cyprus data protection guidance on CCTV, including camera placement, signage and retention settings.
